Day 1 of another new start:
I woke up this first day of 2022 and enjoyed some tea and a donut that weighs more than my head.
Lol! Yep, that's coconut. It's breakfast confetti.

It's raining, and I'm enjoying listening to it fall as it washes away the chaos and doldrums of 2021.
My temporary weekend workspace is quiet and calm, the perfect space to focus and create. I was hoping to have my 2022 journals done by today, but apparently they were meant to be started with the new year, not for the New Year. And yes, I brought my cactus, bottles, gold gift bag, and twinkle lights from home. The teddybear is a bonus that comes with the space
I need to send a thank you shout-out to author LJ Evans for this next inspiration:
I stopped declaring resolutions and started setting goals several years ago. But the last 2 years have shown just how much havoc life can create when our goals are stymied by events beyond our control. So this year, I'm going to take author LJ Evans's mantra mentality.
My 2022 mantra: FLOW.
Nothing is set in stone, I need to accept that and learn to flow around & through the chaos if I'm going to come out on the other side with the least damage and the most momentum. ❤️

And going with the concept of FLOW in 2022, I'll be moving from this website to my new one in the next few days. It's nearly ready to launch, but as with all things, even it won't be perfect when it does. And that's ok. There will be a flow to that progress as I continue to slowly migrate all of the old reviews and blog posts to the new site, even as I add new ones. And this site will remain active for a time while I adjust to the new format. I will post another update with links and how to subscribe to the new site. And I hope you'll join me on the new site. I have grown so much as a blogger, reviewer, and person in the last six months, and honestly all credit goes to you, my incredibly supportive bookish friends. Having you along for the next part of this journey really means so much to me.
So, tell me... How are you spending your day? Making any big changes in the near future? And are you doing resolutions, goals, or mantras this year? Something else? Nothing? Whatever you're doing, I hope you do with a peaceful mind, a kind heart, and a joyful soul.
Happy 2022, my friends
